This RPG is set POST Serenity. So, unfortunately, Wash and Book are no longer with us. This is one of the most active Firefly RPGs on EZboard. And we plan to keep it that way! So check us out, and see what we're all about.

"Certainlly." Inara replied,"I would...have your back as you say." and then smiled with a great deal of ease. "I am wondering if you
would then do the same for I,not that I could ever pull anything over on Mal. "

And suddenly Kaimana remembered why she had come to Inara's shuttle that night, why she had come now. The realization flashed across her face before
another feature, her smile, replaced it.
"Maybe we can team up," she offered with a shrug.
It was not simply a realization of why she had come, but it was as if she was finally remembering everything. Collapsing on the floor of Inara's shuttle,
her blood, Inara's comforting presence in the way she took hold of Kaimana's hand, everything. And just as suddenly as the memories emerged, Kaimana
found herself feeling vulnerable and almost embarrassed.
"Thank you," she said, referring both to Inara's watching her back in the case of an upcoming prank, as well as for her help when the teenager
had been shot.
"you are quite welcome Kai." she replied not completely sure what the young girl was thanking her for. After all she would gladly support the young
woman in whatever quest she planned. Whatever pranks she intended to pull on Mal. "So what have you decided to do to Mal?" she asked.
Kaimana nodded, wondering if she should tell Inara about the reason she had come. But part of her felt that she wouldn't be asked again, and so was left to
ponder on it.
"So what have you decided to do to Mal?" she asked.
"Nothin' in mind yet, first I gotta be able to y'know, walk and run. Once I can do the runnin', then I'll get to the jokes," and the
grin spread once more across her face. There was no doubt that the teenager knew both how to have a good time, but also how to be serious when the time called.
"After all, Mal owes me his life. He can't get too mad with a simple practical joke right?" she said with a wink.
Inara raised an eyebrow when Kai asked about Mal being mad. Inara couldn't say yes or no for any certainty on that one. She assumed he wouldn't get
angry but there was always that moment. "I would hope he wouldn't." she replied."But this is Malcolm Reynolds we are talking about here. He
is full of...surprises."
Shifting a bit Inara offered a smile and a pat to the knee."Once you are up and able to move about better, then we should discuss it again."
"I would hope he wouldn't." she replied."But this is Malcolm Reynolds we are talking about here. He is full

Kaimana thought for a minute and then nodded, it sounded like Mal hadn't changed all that much since the time she had seen him last. Certainly there were
things about him that had changed, but also, things that had not changed even in the slightest. His eyes always carried a hint of mischief and rebellion, but
caring and resolution as well.
"Once you are up and able to move about better, then we should discuss it again."
"It's a date," the younger woman smiled.
After a pause, she found her eyes sweeping around the shuttle looking for possible stains that she was responsible for.
"Is there anythin' I can do to help you clean up the shuttle anymore 'n you already have?"
Looking briefly around the room Inara didn't think she could get int any cleaner. She had scrubbed and scoured until the last bits and pieces were gone.
"I don't think so Kai." she said,"But thank you I appreciate the offer." She knew the girl was trying and Inara hoped she would just
try to relax a bit. "I think I could actually use some time out of my shuttle Kai. Why don't we go to the galley and see if there is some leftover
type food for us to snack on."

Kaimana nodded and stood up slowly, though the pain in her stomach prevented it being one fluid motion. Once she stood out, she reached to the wall for
support. The dining hall was a long ways away and she wasn't hungry; she hadn't been hungry since she'd been wounded. But, she would accompany
Inara because it was good to be with others. Good to be with people who were up and about.
"Sounds good," she said with a smile, "after you."
It would take her longer to walk there than Inara, so it seemed only natural that Inara would lead the way so she wouldn't have to wait for Kaimana.
Smiling she waited patiently as the younger woman came along. Inara knew it was difficult with the wound and all so it was only polite she wait until the could
enter the dining room together. "I do believe you are moving a little better than before." she said,"And I am sure it will improve over
tme."
Stepping through the door she held out an arm out to the young woman. "Steady here you could fall, feel free to use my arm."
(ooc:I'll post this in dining room as well, feel free to move inara into dining room)
